  21. Yes, and your comment finally helped me find the solution, which was
  22. to escape to the Kermit prompt and provide my input via the kermit
  23. OUTPUT command.

  25. Thank you, Messrs. Doupnik and Altman--your comments helped me find
  26. a solution; obviously I need to write a small Kermit script which
  27. will take my keyboard input and transmit it one line at a time with
  28. the OUTPUT command.  This gets me around my problem.
